The last tab in Edit Columns accesses the Advanced Options. These fields are considered Advanced because, when enabled, they are computed dynamically after each search is run. They may significantly impact the performance of searches.
•All Custodians - when a discovery order requires the export of an "all custodians" field, enable this column. The tool will then update the field to include the Custodian assigned to each duplicate of the document. See Manage Custodians for assigning custodians to collections. Because custodians can be modified at any time, this field is calculated and updated with each search and will take resources for each search result.
•Bates column - this column will display the beginning and ending bates number for each document produced though the DWR production process or loaded into the matter by a load file. Because this data can be modified at any time this field is calculated and updated with each search and will take resources for each search result. The XREF field in DWR displays the beginning bates of each document and can be used to search/sort through Bates labeled documents. This field is available for when a single document has been produced multiple times and the review team needs an indication of each bates number applied.
•Issues column - While the applied issues appear in the Work Product Inspector they can also be displayed in a field. Because issues are constantly changing this field is calculated upon each search and is not sortable. Use the filter options to select and display only documents with selected issues.
